Donating appreciated stock you have owned for over a year is one of the most tax-advantaged ways to make charitable gifts. With planning, you can reduce your capital gains tax while supporting Genesis HealthCare Foundation.
Retirement assets, including an employee retirement plan, IRA or tax-sheltered annuity, are an excellent gift. These assets can shield your heirs from taxes.
As a business owner, you can build your business and accumulate wealth. You can also accomplish your philanthropic goals through charitable planning. A gift of your corporate stock or assets can provide you with tax and income benefits and further our mission.

Warm Hand Off Program
Do you want to help those struggling with addictions? Genesis has specially trained volunteers on-call to help support patients and/or family members dealing with addiction in the Emergency Department (ED) at Genesis Hospital and the Genesis Perry County Medical Center ED.
The program is called the Warm Hand Off, and it pairs patients with volunteers who understand addiction. While in the ED, volunteers will listen, provide treatment information and answer questions regarding recovery. Find out how you can help.
Would you like to honor or memorialize a loved one through the annual Tree of Love celebration? All proceeds benefit life-saving services at Genesis HealthCare System.
