Medicare open enrollment 2024

A second Open Enrollment Period for Medicare Advantage is available now through March 31, 2024. As you consider your choice of Medicare Advantage plans, with access to your doctors and hospital, we wanted to inform you of the available options.

Please be informed that Genesis HealthCare System is out of network for Humana Medicare Advantage (both HMO & PPO), and Anthem Medicare Advantage (both HMO & PPO) plans for the 2024 plan year. This means that Genesis does not have an agreement with your plan to provide services and you may incur higher co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance and/or out-of-pocket costs.

The entire Genesis HealthCare System including Genesis Hospital, Genesis Coshocton Medical Center, Genesis Perry County Medical Center, Genesis Medical Group Physicians, and Genesis Primary Care Physicians will not be in-network with these plans. The purpose of this notice is to help you make an informed choice about receiving future services as we encourage you to consider other health plans that Genesis HealthCare System accepts. 

Genesis will accept the following Medicare Advantage Health Plans in 2024:

• Aetna Medicare Advantage

• Medical Mutual of Ohio (MMO) Medicare Advantage

• MediGold

• United Healthcare Medicare Advantage

• CareSource Medicare Advantage

• The Health Plan Medicare Advantage

• AllWell Buckeye Medicare Advantage

• Valor Health Plan Medicare Advantage
