Most of the time, your doctor’s office will schedule your imaging test. However, you also may schedule your own appointment as long as you have an order from your physician. To make an appointment, call 740-454-4242 or 800-949-2720 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Appointments aren’t needed for general X-ray services.

Your doctor will tell you how to prepare for your specific imaging test. Some tests require you to follow special dietary instructions or to drink a special contrast liquid that helps us see certain body structures or organs.

You also may call to arrange a visit to the Genesis Imaging Center before your exam so you can see the equipment, meet our staff and learn more about what to expect.
Whenever possible, we’ll call you before your appointment so you can complete your registration over the phone. This saves you time when you arrive for your test.
Count on us to work with your doctor’s office and insurance company to get your benefits information and submit your bill on your behalf. We also accept self-pay patients when payment arrangements are made before your imaging test.
Do you need a copy of the images from your test at Genesis, like an X-ray, CT scan or MRI? We offer you an easy, convenient and secure way to get your scans without making the trip to the hospital.
You can have your images sent directly to your email through MyChart, your electronic medical record. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Log in to MyChart.
2. Find “Document Center” in the menu.
3. Find “Records Request.”
4. Click on “Request Medical Records” in the orange text.
5. Select “Imaging Study” in the drop-down field.
In the box, provide the requested information, including email, exam name, exam date and phone number.
You’ll receive an email from Genesis Imaging with a link to Ambra, our partner in image-sharing. Follow the link to create an account with Ambra to view your images and for future requests.
Accessing your images through MyChart gives you the highest level of privacy and security. You can be assured only you will see your information.
If you don’t have MyChart, it’s easy to sign up. You’ll have access to your medical records from any device. There are many other benefits with MyChart, like scheduling appointments with your doctors, requesting prescription refills, and so much more.
