Stop the Bleed

Free hands-on training to stop life-threatening bleeding.

Hopefully, you will never need it. However, just in case, Genesis offers free Stop the Bleed hands-on training classes. The class teaches participants to recognize and stop life-threatening bleeding until a first responder can take over. Stop the Bleed is offered by Genesis Trauma Services as part of a national campaign to train bystanders for emergencies.

You can sign up for training on:

• Thursday, Feb. 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
• Saturday, May 3, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
• Saturday, August 23 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

All trainings will be located at Genesis Hospital meeting rooms C & D.

Registration is required as space is limited.
